Website search utility help
An important note on searching for partial strings (including mouse strain names).
To search for a partial text string (such as part of a mouse strain name) a user must use the asterisk (*) as a wild card in order for the partial string search to be effective. For example:
- searching for the strain datasheet for strain B6(Cg)-Snord116tm1Uta/J by entering "Snord" in the query box will not work. The user must enter "Snord*" in order for the search to include the expected datasheet.
Initializing a search
In order to initialize a search, click on the "Search" button in the upper left corner of the site. That will expand the search dialog box.
