Donate a Strain to The Jackson Laboratory Repository

For your convenience, please contact the JAX Mouse Concierge if you have a large number of strains to submit.

To ensure that your strain is evaluated at the next meeting, please submit your strain no later than the 3^rd Wednesday of the month. You will be notified after your strain has been reviewed by email.

Strain Information

1. How would you describe your mice? (knock-out, knock-in, floxed, Cre-expressing, transgenic, etc.)?

2. What gene(s) has (have) been manipulated in your strain, if any?

3. Do you have a common name that you use for the strain/mutation?

4. Briefly, tell us about your mouse strain (phenotype, viability/fertility of homozygotes, exceptional features, etc.)

5. What is the genetic background of your mouse strain? (C57BL/6, FVB, etc., or if a mixture of backgrounds, list those you know)

6. What method do you use to genotype your mice? (PCR, Southern, etc.)
