"That's JAX" - News and information about the Jackson Laboratory

The Mount Desert Islander weekly newspaper, based in The Jackson Laboratory's hometown of Bar Harbor, Maine, periodically devotes a section of their paper to Jackson news, called "That's Jax."

These articles are about Lab researchers and their accomplishments, the facility itself, and its employees, including their community-related activities outside the Lab.

Faculty member Wayne Frankel also writes a guest column called "Genetics, Genomics and You," which serves as a primer in genetics research for the layperson.
